The Kidneys are situated in the posterior part of the abdomen, one on either side of the vertebral column (spine) and surrounded by a mass of fat and loose areolar tissue; Kidneys filter waste and extra fluid that body does not need. Their function is vital for health. Many Kidney conditions may be painful, even serious. If you find that you experience any symptoms of Kidney problems, you should consult to doctor to understand the root cause.
The prostate is a variable-sized gland located in the male pelvis, usually the size of a walnut measuring 3-4 Centimeters long and 3-5 centimeters width. Consult doctor if any of the below symptoms.
The urinary bladder is a musculomembranous sac which acts as a reservoir for the urine; and as its size, position, and relations vary according to the amount of fluid it contains. It receives urine from the Kidneys through the ureters and is dispensed from the bladder through the Urethra.
Andrology is the medical specialisation that studies sexuality and the male reproduction function; one could say that for the male, it represents the equivalent of gynaecology for the female.
The Testes and their Coverings -The testes are two glandular organs, which secrete the semen; they are suspended in the scrotum by the spermatic cords. Many men present with lumps, bumps or pain in the scrotal area. Most are entirely benign but some conditions, such as testis tumors or torsion, need accurate and timely referral. Scrotal pain is an increasingly common symptom in young men.
